| All over bengal 355mmX200mm dia HDTW is in practice. Is it the most economical dimension?. The soil properties as well as radius of influence varies from place to place. Hence the strainer length for a design discharge should also vary from place to place and the concept of model design of HDTW is baseless. Can anybody react on this issue?

| Yes ..i also believe the same thing....one should design the HDTW/MDTW based on the local condition at the site...Need to perform sieve analysis of the acuifer materials..and prepare grain size distribution carve... based on that..we should design..strainer length, slot opening size , Gravel size of the Gravel pack should be determined...
